How I Became a Gold Medalist

Getting accolades for your hard work, whether it was a successfully completed difficult surgery, a beautifully weeded flower bed or writing a best-selling book is very honoring. Last month two atta boys came my way. I was honored to receive two gold medals from the North American Book Awards.

My third book, The Doctors Guide to Smart Career Alternatives and Retirement, was given a gold medal in the category of Business Leadership & Management.

My second book, The Doctors Guide to Eliminating Debt, received a gold medal in Business Entrepreneurship.

My First book, The Doctors Guide to Starting Your Practice Right, received a silver medal last year in Business Entrepreneurship, as well as being awarded non-fiction book of the year in the 2016 Idaho Author Awards. That award was the tipping point that encouraged me to give up medicine and concentrate all my efforts on teaching doctors better ways to handle their personal finance.

All three books have also reached Amazon Best Seller status in their respective categories.

What a fun start to a new career as a repurposed General Surgeon. I would like to thank all of you who have read my books, posted Amazon reviews, written book reviews on your blog, invited me to be your guest on your podcast, published my guest blog on your site, and given me encouraging feedback along the way. I’m looking forward to many years of helping healthcare professionals thrive.

If you don’t already have one of my books, what are you waiting for? Clicking the book title below will take you straight to Amazon so you can get your very own copy in either print or e-book form.
