I went through a lot of worrying leading up to my retirement. Will I miss medicine? Will I get bored? Will I have enough money? Do you ever feel there are unrealistic expectations put on you as a physician? Most physicians could easily fall into the “hero” category. But we are often considered just doing our job. We stay up all night to save a patient and it’s just doing our job. We miss out kid’s birthday party because we were in surgery for a ruptured appendix and we are just doing our job. Kevin MD shares with us an article about the unrealistic expectations put on physicians. Do you agree?
